Commonly\, however\, school administrators are unaware of how to work with booster clubs to achieve the best results.\n\nThis workshop will assist school admistrators to ensure that booster clubs supporting their school programs are operated legally and effectively\, including:  \n\n1) How booster clubs should be legally structured\;\n2) The financial controls booster clubs should have in place\; and\,\n3) Why booster clubs need to be recognized as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charities.\n\nThe workshop will be presented by Sandra Pfau Englund\, an attorney with over 20 years experience working with schools\, nonprofit organizations and school booster clubs.
